Advantages:

  • UV resistance

  • Fast printing

Disadvantages:

  • limited color availability

  • Absorbs moisture from atmosphere, must be stored dry

When to use UV PETG:

  • Parts that will be exposed to a ultraviolet sterilization process

  • Parts that will be exposed to direct sunlight for long durations

Our choice: IC3D UV PETG

IC3D UV PETG filament is designed to offer exceptional print quality and durability, making it a popular choice for a variety of projects. This filament excels in outdoor applications due to its UV resistance, ensuring that printed parts maintain their integrity and appearance when exposed to sunlight. With a good balance of strength and flexibility, IC3D UV PETG is also less prone to warping compared to standard PETG, facilitating more reliable prints.
